Martinez (02/02/47, 26 KOs) will clash with the undefeated “Dazzling” Darren Barker (23-0, 14 KOs), the über popular product in London, England, and the current European champions.
Martinez recently defeated Sergiy Dzinziruk by an 8th round stoppage in March, while Barker defeated Domenica Spada in April to capture the vacant European Boxing Union (EBU) middleweight title. Barker has superb boxing skills and maybe even better than Cotto and Chavez Jr. in regards to talent.
